The U.S. Senate Rejects the Treaty
The president of the united states, Woodrow Wilson, signed The Treaty of Versailles but refused to take any Representatives and Senators with him to the conference. One of the reasons the U.S. didnt agree with the treaty was because the Leage of Nations was a part of it, and they felt that joining the League would put their economy at risk, and didnt want to have to ship their troops half way across the world for something that didnt even concern them.
